I put my own money into things I’m willing to spend time understanding.

I invest close to the areas I know through my own work: commerce, digital products and the businesses that support them. I want to understand how something makes money, what could go wrong and the people making the decisions.

I’m investing my own capital, which gives me time to be selective and patient. I care more about a business getting better over the years than what makes it interesting this week.
